SEATTLE — MOD Pizza, a leading fast-casual pizza chain, released its new limited-edition Pride Cake, which is a vanilla cake with vanilla cream filling, vanilla frosting and rainbow sprinkles.
The special edition cake will be available now through July 31 at more than 500 locations or while supplies last. The proceeds will support two organizations dedicated to strengthening the LGBTQ+ community across the globe: in the US, The Trevor Project, and in Canada, the Victoria Pride Society. MOD will donate $0.25 cents per cake, and the cakes are sold for $2.77 to $3.02 USD and $4.47 CAN.
“As a people-first brand, we have a real commitment to contribute to a world that works for and includes everyone,” said Ally Svenson, MOD co-founder. “We want our stores to be a place where everyone feels welcome – safe and inclusive gathering spots where people are treated with respect and dignity. As we celebrate Pride Month, we’re proud to support The Trevor Project and Victoria Pride Society, both making important impacts towards a more welcoming, inclusive and loving world.”
The restaurant chain will serve the cakes alongside its individual artisan pizzas and salads, both of which are fully customizable.
