DENVER — Baking giant Grupo Bimbo announced its acquisition of Mile Hi Bakery during its Q3 Results Conference Call, held Oct. 26.

DENVER — Baking giant Grupo Bimbo announced its acquisition of Mile Hi Bakery during its Q3 Results Conference Call, held Oct. 26.
“During the quarter, we successfully acquired Mile Hi Bakery in Colorado, US, known for producing buns and English muffins for the QSR channel,” said Rafael Pamias, COO of Grupo Bimbo. “The strategic acquisition strengthens our geographic presence in this high-growth industry and opens doors to new QSR customers in the US.”
The Denver-based high-speed, full-capacity bakery produces buns and English muffins for the QSR channel.
Mile Hi’s partners include Bimbo Bakeries USA, McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Red Robin, Good Times, Chick-fil-a and Aspen Baking Co.
