PLANO, TX — With increasing consumer demand for products boasting better-for-you attributes, bakery professionals can benefit from in-depth learning opportunities.
Middleby Bakery will host the Better for You Baking Innovation seminar Nov. 6, an immersive experience designed to explore the vital topics baking leaders, R&D experts and product developers need to know, including ingredient formulation, equipment performance and product optimization.
The day-long event, hosted in partnership with Baking Innovation, will take place at the Middleby Bakery Innovation Center in Plano, TX, and cover an array of insights from industry experts and live demonstrations using Middleby Bakery technologies.
Presenters include Richard Charpentier, CMB, CEO of Baking Innovation, Dr. Elizabeth Arndt, director of R&D at Conagra Foods, and chef and bakery consultant Romain Dufour. The three will cover an array of topics, including the impact of MAHA regulations on commercial bakers, product optimization for performance and nutrition, health-driven better-for-you snacks, and better-for-you spiced creme cakes.
Attendees will glean additional insights on protein-fortified hamburger buns, presented by Cain Foods’ Ben Reusser and John Hinds, and essential information on California figs during a lunch and learn led by Kris Caputo, marketing director of the California Fig Advisory Board.
