LOS ANGELES — After expanding its reach nationwide with Sprouts Farmers Market in September, MASA is reaping the rewards, boasting record-breaking performance.

The Ancient Crunch Inc. brand, known for its tallow tortilla chips, shared that in the first two weeks it hit store shelves, MASA and its sister brand, Vandy, sold more than 12,000 units across 460 Sprouts locations.

“Sprouts has become a proving ground for what happens when shoppers are offered real food made the right way,” said Seth Goldstein, co-founder of Ancient Crunch. “Consumers are no longer choosing between ‘healthy’ and ‘great tasting’ — MASA breaks that binary. This launch shows just how hungry people are for snacks made from simple, nutrient-dense ingredients and zero seed oils.”

To mark the milestone, Ancient Crunch unveiled a new Masa flavor, Hatch Chile, available exclusively at Sprouts.

On average, MASA now sells more than 400,000 bags of chips per month across all doors. The brand is currently available in more than 1,500 retailers across the US, with more national partners set for early in the new year.
