RENO, NV — Following its recent acquisition by Rosseau Inc., a US subsidiary of Dare FoodsMary’s Gone Crackers is bolstering its product portfolio with a reformulated version of its Cheezee line.

Now available in a brand-new Smoked Gouda flavor, the Cheezee crackers have a lighter, crispier texture and a bolder plant-based cheese flavor. The line holds its commitment to using dairy-free, vegan ingredients, providing consumers an alternative to traditional cheese crackers.

“These crackers are everything our fans loved about the original Cheezee line, just taken up a notch — better flavor, better texture and a new smoky twist with Gouda that’s already turning heads,” said Michael Finete, CEO of Mary’s Gone Crackers. “As we continue to expand our presence nationally, we’re keeping our promise to innovate with intention and lead in the better-for-you snacking space.”

Designed to appeal to evolving consumer preferences, the Smoked Gouda variety delivers a smoky, bold flavor in a gluten-free format. The new flavor joins the existing lineup of Cheddar and Cheese & Herb varieties.

The reformulation process was guided by direct consumer feedback on flavor and texture expectations. R&D consisted of multiple rounds of external sensory testing for the Mary’s team to fully grasp what consumers want in a dairy-free cheese cracker.

A key innovation identified in the process is the addition of a topical seasoning — applied after baking to deliver a more flavorful punch — as well as an all-new base cracker formula.

The Cheezee update coincides with the final phase of Mary’s packaging refresh, which introduces a bold, modern look. It also follows the brand’s expansion to major retailers such as Target, Costco and Sam’s Club.

Mary’s Gone Crackers’ full line is now available online as well as at natural and conventional retailers nationwide.
