COLLEGEDALE, TN — Little Debbie, a brand under the McKee Foods Corp. umbrella, is adding Double Decker Chocolate Chip Creme Pies to its product portfolio with a sell-by date code to the vending industry this April.

The new snack cake features three chocolate chip cookies layered with creme in a 4.4-ounce package.

Known for its Double Decker Cookies — Oatmeal Creme Pie and Fudge Rounds — Little Debbie holds a 28% unit share of the convenience cookie segment, according to NielsenIQ. The individually wrapped pies are shelf-stable and sold in a 54-count case, making them suitable for vending machines, micro markets, cafeterias and catering.

McKee Foods also broadened its portfolio for its foodservice customers with Fieldstone Bakery Donut Sticks.
