HORSHAM, PA — Entenmann’s Little Bites Snacks, a Bimbo Bakeries USA brand, added a new, limited-edition flavor to its grab-and-go snack muffin line: Girl Scout Toast-Yay! The brand partnered with Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) to create the muffins, which were inspired by the organization’s Toast-Yay! cookies.
“We’re thrilled to see our Toast-Yay! cookies inspire a new flavor of Little Bites Muffins,” said Wendy Lou, chief revenue officer of GSUSA. “The popularity of the Toast Yay! cookies is due to the millions of girls who participate in our Cookie Program, the largest entrepreneurial program for girls.”
The French toast-flavored muffins are made with cinnamon and maple syrup and have no high fructose corn syrup or trans fat. Similar to other Little Bites varieties, the muffins are pre-portioned four to a pouch for on-the-go eating.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with a well-loved brand like Girl Scouts that shares similar beliefs to Little Bites in spreading joy and supporting kids,” said Lia Arakelian, brand manager for Little Bites Snacks. “By capturing the essence of an iconic Girl Scout Cookie flavor in a delicious bite-sized muffin, we’re able to bring our fans a taste first of its kind. We can’t wait to see all the ways they enjoy them.”
Little Bites Girl Scout Toast-Yay! Muffins are available at most retailers nationwide through July.
The brand is known for its limited-editions, bite-size treats and collaborations. Earlier this year, Entenmann’s launched Brownie Drizzle Drops in Triple Chocolate and Creamy Caramel as a way to meet consumer demand for indulgent portion control. Last year, Entenmann’s celebrated its 125th birthday by collaborating with Baked By Melissa to create three mini-cupcake flavors inspired by its snack cakes: Devil’s Food Crumb, Chocolate Chip Cookie and Party Cake. It also brought back its Little Bites Chocolate Party Cake Muffins for a limited time as a seasonal snacking opportunity that encouraged consumers to celebrate everyday occasions.
