STUTTGART, GERMANY — As Hillenbrand, Inc. completed of the acquisition of Linxis Group, a global supplier of equipment for the food, pharma and cosmetics industries, the company has formally joined Linxis Group and Coperion together.

Linxis Group will now be a part of the Coperion Food, Health and Nutrition Division, headed by Kevin Buchler as president of the division and Tim Cook as chief strategy and business development officer for Linxis Group.

Operating six industry-leading brands — Bakon, Diosna, Shaffer, Shick Esteve, Unifiller and VMI —Linxis Group serves customers in more than 100 countries. With a global footprint in the design, installation and service of industrial process equipment and automation solutions, Linxis Group will complement Coperion’s current offerings for the food and pharma industries.

Both companies will combine their strengths and capabilities as global suppliers to the food and health industries.

The expanded resources will provide a global customer support network including test centers available for product development and proof-of-concept trials.
