MONTREAL — Maple syrup is a breakfast staple for consumers and a popular alternative sweetener for food manufacturers.

Vachon, a member of the Bimbo Canada brand family, is bringing back its limited-edition maple-flavored cakes, Passion Flakie and Ah Caramel, as well as a new format: Roulé Roll.

In addition to the products’ return, Vachon is going a step further in celebrating maple by partnering with Tree Canada to plant 30,000 trees across the country through the organization’s National Greening Program, with support from Natural Resources Canada’s 2 Billion Trees matching initiative.

“This collaboration transforms a moment of indulgence into a meaningful environmental impact, linking the taste of tradition to a regenerative effort that will benefit ecosystems for years to come,” said Marie-Pier Faucher, brand manager of Vachon. “We’re proud to support Tree Canada’s mission to inspire, educate and enable Canadians to plant and nurture trees, and to help restore Canada’s forests, one delicious treat at a time.”

Canadian consumers can support the initiative by purchasing the limited-edition maple-flavored snacks in stores nationwide.
