LOS ANGELES — Lexington Bakes (LXB), known for its eco-conscious and better-for-you cookies and brownies, is set to expand its product portfolio with Chilled Oat Bars.
Preparing to launch this quarter, the new product will be available in two flavors: Maple Brown Butter and Raspberry Crumble. The bars are 100% organic, naturally gluten-free, and omit artificial ingredients. Each 1.65-ounce oat bar also features 4 grams of protein, 4 grams of fiber and 9 grams of sugar.
“Our upcoming platform of chilled breakfast bars takes our mission to reimagine [our campaign] nostalgic treats Better Than You Remember beyond dessert,” said Lex Evan, founder, CEO and chef of Lexington Bakes. “Refrigerated snacks and healthy snacks are set to grow at a CAGR of 6-7 percent, respectively, through 2034, and this data helped us align our brand vision with the direction of our target consumer’s needs. Our chilled oat bars deliver on the extraordinary taste for which we are known, with 50 percent less sugar than our indulgent dessert treats. By enhancing our No Naughty Ingredients standards for breakfast bars to include no refined sugar, we’ve designed a perfect healthier treat to start your day with good taste.”
Marketed as “oatmeal on the go,” LXB’s Chilled Oat Bars are suitable for convenience snacking.
Earlier this year, the luxury dessert brand rolled out a limited-edition seasonal lineup of cookies and brownies, with each baked good made in collaboration with artisan brands.
