MILWAUKEE, WI — Lesaffre, known for its robust lineup of baking ingredients and yeast solutions, announced the addition of Jill Stang as VP of sales and business development.
Stang joins the company from IFF, where she most recently served as director of sales – bakery, bars, cereal and confectionery.
“Jill will lead our commercial teams and continued success with our baking customers and partners,” said Tom Benner, president and CEO of Lesaffre and Red Star Yeast. “We are thrilled to have her as part of our leadership team.”
She succeeds Dean Modglin, who will retire at the end of 2025 after 23 years with Lesaffre and Red Star Yeast.
“Dean is an icon in the baking industry,” Benner said. “Our customers and company owe a lot to Dean; his legacy in this industry will be enormous.”
In the latter half of 2024, Lesaffre made a collection of acquisitions, including dsm-firmenich, Biorigin and Altar.
