JACKSON, MI — LeMatic, Inc. has promoted Teresa J. Ruder to global business development manager to further expand the company’s worldwide reach. In this new role, she will source and train partner-agents to better serve LeMatic’s global markets, as well as develop deeper relationships with current international customers.

“As LeMatic continues to expand our automation solutions and equipment offerings, we need a primary focus on reaching out to the global market for awareness of our capabilities,” said Richard Kirkland, president of LeMatic. “I have full confidence that Teresa, with her many years of baking industry experience, will excel for us in this area.”

An industry veteran of 23 years, Ruder began her career with Burford Corp. in 1999. Focusing her career in sales and marketing, Ruder quickly became a key player for the company, later advancing into managerial roles. After Burford was acquired by Middleby Bakery Group in 2017, Ruder continued as marketing manager for the group before joining LeMatic in January 2022 as a senior sales executive.

With a deep commitment to the baking industry, Ruder has served associations such as the American Society of Baking as a board member and officer. She is also an active member of BEMA and the American Bakers Association and has extensive international experience with tradeshows in markets around the world.

“We will rely on Teresa for additional opportunities in the worldwide marketplace, and I have no doubt she will be very successful in this new role,” Kirkland added.
