YAKIMA, WA — Kwik Lok has announced changes to its leadership team. Jordan James will fill the newly created role of director of North American sales and strategic accounts. He replaces Bruce Cox, who is retiring as director of strategic accounts.

James’ new responsibilities as a member of the Kwik Lok leadership team include overseeing the commercial sales team in North America and managing strategic customer partnerships. He will lead the development and implementation of sales strategies and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.

James began his career at Kwik Lok on the sales team in 2017. Prior to Kwik Lok, he was the director of sales and business development at Shamrock Sales and Services Inc., a Kwik Lok distributor located in central California.

Cox joined Kwik Lok’s sales team nearly 20 years ago and has brought his talents to several roles. He started  as the regional sales manager for Alaska, Washington, Idaho, Oregon and Montana along with the four western provinces of Canada. He successfully grew these territories and was promoted to Western divisional manager, helping regional sales managers grow all territories in the western US and Canadian provinces. In 2019, Cox began a new role directing Kwik Lok’s strategic accounts.

“Bruce has been a respected and valued leader on Kwik Lok’s sales team and throughout the company,” said Blair Chastain, chief revenue officer for Kwik Lok. “He has been a mentor and role model for others. Throughout his time at Kwik Lok, Bruce demonstrated the ability to nurture and support strategic relationships and has maintained great trust with Kwik Lok customers. His contributions will be greatly missed.”

Cox has also been a strong supporter of the bakery and produce industries, bringing his talents to organizations such as  BEMA and the American Bakers Association.

“Bruce is a true example of what it means to be a professional,” James said. “The way he composes himself and relates with people has been an inspiration to me. I’m honored for the opportunity to continue in Bruce’s footsteps and strive to make the same positive impact that he had on our company.”
