PARK CITY, UT — High-protein snack and breakfast brand Kodiak is furthering its partnership with the Youth Sports Alliance (YSA) by teaming up once again to help students across Utah gain easier access to after-school sports and activities.

Through its partnership with the Utah-based non-profit, Kodiak will be the title sponsor for YSA’s after-school programs, Get Out & Play and ACTiV8, which have been nationally recognized for their efforts to inspire students to live active lives.

“Partnering with YSA for a third year is incredibly meaningful to us,” said Cory Bayers, chief marketing officer at Kodiak. “We’ve seen firsthand how these programs strengthen our communities by giving kids from all backgrounds access to sports, mentorship and healthy habits. Kodiak is honored to help fuel their adventures with nutrient-dense foods, and we’re excited to continue supporting YSA as they expand opportunities for even more students across Utah.”

Kodiak will provide financial backing and nutrient-dense snacks for YSA’s programs, ensuring children of all financial backgrounds are eligible.

Last year, the partnership increased participation by 25%, totaling more than 3,200 children in the Get Out & Play or ACTiV8 programs across the state, with 41% receiving program scholarships or discounted rates.

“Our mission is to introduce kids to sports in a way that builds confidence and belonging, while helping them learn the lifelong lessons that come from being active — perseverance, optimism and resilience,” said Emily Fisher, executive director of Youth Sports Alliance. “Partnering with Kodiak allows us to reach more families and provide the support that makes winter sports accessible to every child, regardless of financial barriers.”
