PLANO, TX — Middleby Food Processing announced that Ken Mentch has joined its team as automation sales manager, working primarily with Ve.Ma.C, Stewart Systems and Key-Log using new Vehicle Guided Automation (VGA) technologies for both bakery and protein industries.
With more than 30 years of experience in the baking industry, Mentch started in engineering and quickly worked his way into sales. For the past 17 years, he has worked in the creation and promotion of bakery equipment applications of robotics and storage and retrieval systems.
While Mentch’s main focus will be for projects in North America, he will review and assist in VGA opportunities globally with Middleby’s worldwide offices and brands.
