CHICAGO — To further its commitment to solution-driven innovation in the K-12 foodservice sphere, Kellanova launched a new line of whole grain products under its Kellanova Away From Home portfolio.

The 2025-26 lineup includes Cheez-It Spicy Buffalo crackers — which contain 8 grams of whole grains and 100% real cheese — and Kellogg’s Scooby Doo! Baked Graham Cracker Snacks Chocolate.

“At Kellanova, we’re passionate about fueling better school days with food kids love and nutrition operators can feel good about,” said Jessica Waller, GM of Kellanova Away From Home. “Our new offerings put whole grains front and center while bringing bold flavors to trusted brands like Cheez-It. We’re constantly thinking about practical solutions to nutritional requirements and student taste preferences we can offer that make it easier for K-12 operators to serve meals that are both nourishing and delicious.”

The company also provided a sneak peek into the 2026-27 school year’s offerings, which will feature Cheez-It Pizza crackers, Cheez-It Walking Taco, and a bulk case of original-flavored Cheez-It crackers made with whole grain. These products were featured in Kellanova’s booth at the 2025 School Nutrition Association’s Annual National Conference (ANC), held July 13-15 in San Antonio.

“Our innovation is both student-approved and operator-friendly,” said Lisa Favia, senior director of commercial strategy for Kellanova Away From Home. “Given we are seeing a growth in speed scratch among operators, we’re reviewing how our products can support their evolving needs. With Cheez-It Walking Taco packaging and bulk Cheez-It, for example, we’re offering options in our portfolio that enable the culinary creativity of foodservice directors while also supporting whole grain and nutrition goals.”

Kellanova — which split from Kellogg’s in 2023 — was acquired by Mars, Inc. in Q3 2024. WK Kellogg Co. was recently acquired by the Ferrero Group.
