CHICAGO — There’s a new chef in residence at Kellanova.

Chef Shari Cruz will spend a year at Kellanova in the fellowship. The year-long program grants chefs the opportunity to work at the W.K. Kellogg Institute of Food Technology in Battle Creek, MI.

Participants have the chance to enhance their food innovation skills and collaborate with the company’s culinary team to create new products that draw from an array of tastes and cultures, such as Cruz’ own Filipino and Chamorro roots.

During her tenure, Cruz will work on projects such as cultural broadcasts, food hub takeovers and crafting recipes for Kellanova products such as Eggo.
