PARSIPPANY, NJ — Keebler, a Ferrero North America brand, partnered with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products to craft a Butterbeer cookie inspired by Harry Potter.
Keebler’s Limited Edition Harry Potter Butterbeer Fudge Stripes Cookies celebrates the popular beverage enjoyed by characters throughout the film series.
“Our goal is to spread magic to families in delicious ways that create more meaningful moments and what better way to do so than to partner with a franchise that’s all about magic,” said Kim Thomas, brand manager for Keebler Fudge Stripes. “We’re honored to bring this signature flavor to an iconic Keebler cookie that gives consumers a fun and tasty way to celebrate the first-ever Butterbeer season.”
The new offering features a Butterbeer-flavored cookie topped with Butterbeer-flavored fudge made to mimic the combination of soda and butterscotch. Four unique, magical designs are imprinted on the cookies, depicting motifs from the movie.
The packaging also plays a part in the magic. Consumers can scan the QR code on the product packaging to access interactive games and recipes through Keebler’s Open for Magic digital content hub.
The limited-edition cookies are available in 9.5-ounce packages in retailers nationwide for an SRP of $4.80.
Goldfish also recently collaborated with Warner Bros., adding a Butterbeer addition to its Sweet Grahams line.
