KAYCO — one of the leading manufacturers and distributors of kosher goods — and Meijer’s partnership includes a wider assortment and availability of essential Kosher items for Detroit area consumers like matzo, an unleavened flatbread traditionally eaten during this holiday.

“Category growth and high consumer demand created the perfect opportunity to expand the supermarket’s focus on kosher products,” said Harold Weiss, chief sales officer for KAYCO.

KAYCO and Meijer developed a modular pallet consisting of over 50 components of KAYCO kosher goods to provide customers with an array of brands and products to choose from, Weiss shared.

Last Passover, the partnership between both companies helped Meijer succeed in bringing one of the widest ranges of kosher provisions to shoppers in time for the holiday.
