YORK, PA — JLS Automation announced the appointment of Sean Spees as director of cartoning solutions. He will report to Gary Pickett, the company’s senior director of secondary packaging.
“Sean is an insightful leader in end-of-line automation with a proven track record of solving complex packaging challenges,” Pickett said. “Many of us have known him for several years, and his expertise will be invaluable as we continue to deliver exceptional cartoning solutions to our customers.”
With more than 20 years of industry experience, Spees will bolster the equipment manufacturing company’s leadership and build on its 70-year legacy. He has served in numerous roles across the packaging industry at companies including Signode and Pearson Packaging Systems. He most recently held director roles in sales and service for North America at Syntegon Technology Services.
“His ability to understand both the technical and business aspects of packaging automation makes him a great fit for our team as we grow and expand our capabilities,” Pickett concluded.
