NEW YORK — JARS by dani, known for its mason jar layer cakes, has paired its popular cake layers to launch an ice cream cake innovation.
The new product line features three nut-free flavors — Loaded Cookie, Cake Batter and Strawberry Shortcake — with ice cream layered in a colorful box.
Loaded Cookie layers chocolate chip vanilla cake and cookie dough ice cream in addition to rainbow sprinkles, brownie batter, chocolate chunks, crumbled Oreo, fudge brownie chunks and whipped cream, then topped with cookie dough and mini chocolate chips.
The funfetti cake and vanilla ice cream combo, Cake Batter, includes rainbow sprinkles in and on top of the cake, cake batter, sugar cookie chunk and whipped cream.
Topped with strawberry shortcake crumble, the Strawberry Shortcake variety includes a pink vanilla cake layered with vanilla ice cream and contains pink sprinkles, fresh strawberry filling and sugar cookie chinks mixed with whipped cream.
“I couldn’t just create any new product. The JARS are so unique, a new line had to match the inventiveness of the original,” said Dani Beckerman, founder and CEO of JARS by dani.
Since the company was founded nearly 10 years ago, JARS by dani has sold more than 1 million jars to date. The direct-to-consumer, female-founded brand has partnered with companies such as Microsoft, Talenti and Good Humor.
The Ice Cream Cakes are available for shipping nationwide on the company’s website for $44 per pack plus shipping fees.
