CAMDEN, NJ — According to data from Circana’s OmniConsumer Scan Panel, flavored pretzels are driving 87% of the category growth. In response to this heightened demand for the baked snack, Snack Factory added three new pretzel variations to its portfolio.

Meet evolving sweet-and-savory snacking preferences, The Campbell’s Co. brand launched Cinnamon Sugar Bites, Jalapeño Jack Pop’ums and Lemon Crunch White Creme Pretzel Crisps.

“Today’s snackers are looking for more flavor without compromising on quality, and that’s exactly where Snack Factory continues to innovate,” said Matt Venturella, senior brand manager at Snack Factory. “We’re leaning into the flavors consumers are craving most … that give consumers new reasons to rethink their pretzels.”

Take the Cinnamon Sugar Bites, for example. Circana data also found that cinnamon has become one of the most in-demand pretzel flavors, growing more than 200% over the past two years. Snack Factory’s Cinnamon Sugar Bites are baked and finished with a warm dusting of cinnamon and sugar. Also on the sweet side, the Lemon Crunch White Creme Pretzel Crisps feature lemon-flavored white creme and lemon-infused sugar crystals.

For the consumers who want a little touch of heat in their snacks, Snack Factory crafted Jalapeño Jack Pop’ums with cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses.

Snack Factory Cinnamon Sugar Bites and Jalapeño Jack Pop’ums are available nationwide at retailers such as Amazon, Kroger and Meijer, at an SRP of $5.49 per 9-ounce bag. However, the Lemon Crunch White Creme Pretzel Crisps have limited availability at retailers across the US with an SRP of $4.69 per 4-ounce bag.
