Italian innovation center fortifies Middleby Food Processing network

CASARSA DELLA DELIZIA, ITALY — Middleby Corp. is expanding its network of global innovation centers with the opening of the Middleby Centro di Innovazione (MCI) in Casarsa della Delizia, Italy.

“With high customer demand in Europe for our systems and demonstrations, we are excited to showcase the world’s most advanced technologies in a premiere location that will serve as a global hub,” said Mark Salman, president of Middleby Food Processing. “The facility is state-of-the-art, as we meticulously planned every product and application to ensure a one-of-a-kind experience and an unparalleled innovation showcase.”

A flagship center for Middleby Food Processing, the 65,000-square-foot facility features the latest industry technologies, helping customers collaborate with experts to identify solutions that best fit their operations. The MCI, centrally located near Venice, Italy, is designed specifically for protein, bakery and snack processing, offering a controlled environment to test, validate and train with resources specific to those industry segments.

The Italian center is the latest in a series of innovation hubs for Middleby. On the bakery side, the company has two innovation centers located in Plano, TX, and Bangalore, India, respectively.
