MONTCLAIR, NJ — Known for its pasta sauces and other Italian staples, Rao’s has ventured into the frozen pizza category debuting its Homemade Brick Oven Crust Pizzas.
The “Made For Home” product from Sovos Brands comes in four classic and artisanal flavor varieties: Five Cheese, Meat Trio, Fire Roasted Vegetable and Uncured Pepperoni. Each pie is made with an individually formed crust baked in wood-fired brick ovens and covered in sauce made from San Marzano Italian tomatoes and olive oil-sauteed garlic, onions and fresh basil.
Rao’s Homemade Brick Oven Crust Pizzas are available for a recommended MSRP of $12.99. While the products have already rolled out in select Sprouts, Whole Foods and Harris Teeter stores in certain US regions, consumers can use retailers’ store locators to find the product near them.
