HANRAHAN, LA — Intralox, a leading conveyance solutions provider, announced the expansion of its operations the third for the location in the past four years.

The company will more than double its footprint with this $60 million project, creating 425 direct jobs to sustain the increased production that the expansion of its molding and assembly operations will drive.

“This expansion is critical to support the strong growth we’ve experienced in the last few years,” said Edel Blanks, president of Intralox. “With the new facility, we will rapidly increase our production and assembly capacity. We look forward to expanding our local workforce with the added benefit of meeting the increased demand of our customers around the world.”

The improved facility is set to be complete by the end of 2022 and will bring the site to 400,000-sq-ft. while increasing output by 50%. It will also allow Intralox to double its raw material inventory storage, critical for risk mitigation during supply chain disruption.

The company has invested more than $300 million over the past five years to increase its global footprint with new facilities in Baltimore, Australia and The Netherlands, as well as multiple expansions at the global headquarters in Louisiana.

The current project builds off previous improvements, including the 60,000 sq.-ft. molding operation in 2017 and an automated warehouse addition in 2019.
