LAS VEGAS — The International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE), also known as Baking Expo, is gearing up for IBIE 2025, set for September 13-17 in Las Vegas, with the launch of its Baking Heroes campaign. The concept celebrates “the people behind the process” — from plant managers to cake decorators to engineers to artisan bakers.

IBIE invites anyone who works in the grain-based food industry — seasoned professionals, next-generation rising stars and everyone in between — to submit their photo for possible inclusion in the campaign concept.

Reasons to participate

The campaign offers participants the opportunity to shine a light on the people behind the baking industry’s products and processes. Through the Baking Heroes campaign, IBIE hopes to elevate the entire baking community. Plus, participation provides an opportunity for companies to promote their businesses and connect with industry colleagues.

How to submit a photo

Complete the Photo Submission Form and upload a high-resolution photo that features an image of a person performing their job. The person’s face and upper body must be clearly visible. The photo should also reflect appropriate food safety and sanitation practices. (Pro Tip: Human Resources and Marketing departments often have professional shots of employees that showcase company culture and that are used for workforce recruitment.)

IBIE opened sales for booth space earlier this year, and is also seeking speakers for IBIEducate.
