BOLOGNA, ITALY — The healthy snack market is experiencing major growth as consumer demand for functional foods influences new product launches. This market, which includes high-protein, low-sugar options, is projected to reach $54.6 billion by 2033, according to Precedence Research.

Granarolo, an Italian dairy company with a global presence, is hopping on the healthy snack momentum with the launch of its Cheese Crisps, a high-protein, vegetarian snack made with 100% Italian-aged cheese, with gluten-, lactose- and preservative-free varieties.

Granarolo’s Cheese Crisps are versatile. They can be consumed as an on-the-go snack or used to elevate everyday cooking. The new snack is available in three flavors: Classic, Cheddar and Pizza. It’s available at grocery chains including Kroger and online retailers such as Amazon and Instacart.
