IRVINE, CA — Fruity chewy candy brand Hi-Chew has partnered with Hawthorne, NJ-based Dana’s Bakery to create a Hi-Chew Juicy Blood Orange Cranberry Mookie.
“I am a big Hi-Chew fan and was thrilled by the opportunity to create a custom Mookie inspired by one of their latest flavors for the holidays,” said Dana Pollack, founder and CEO of Dana’s Bakery.
This first of its kind dessert for the holidays utilizes a double layer technology the outer layer of the cookie is reminiscent of a classic homemade sugar cookie with hints of cranberry. When bitten into, the Mookie — a cookie stuffed with a macaron — reveals a rich and tangy Hi-Chew Juicy Blood Orange chewlet infused into the batter and buttercream filling.

Customers will be able to purchase the limited-edition Mookie nationwide from Nov. 22 through Dec. 30 via Dana’s Bakery website. Each $28 box contains five cookies.
