BOSTON — Fancypants Baking Co., known for its crispy cookies in a variety of flavors, grew its footprint into two new major retailers.

The cookie brand’s Chocolate Chip and Salted Caramel flavors are now available at 230 Harris Teeter locations and 38 Whole Foods Market Mid-Atlantic locations.

“Harris Teeter is such an amazing specialty retailer for us — where premium products meet loyal shoppers who still crave a neighborhood-store feel,” said Maura Duggan, founder and CEO of Fancypants. “We have worked with Whole Foods for many years and value them as the absolute gold standard for natural and organic brands. Fancypants could not be more excited to have secured both of these amazing grocery store chains. They’ll be huge players in our 2025 growth.”

Fancypants has also received a $200,000 matching grant from Massachusetts Manufacturing Accelerate Program. The grant will allow the baking company to purchase equipment that will double the speed of its packaging line and expand on production capabilities.

In turn, Fancypants will be able to offer single-serve bag options for its line of cookies later this year.
