ABBOTTSTOWN, PA – G&S Foods, a co-packer and private label salty snacks manufacturer, announced the hiring of Dan Morgan as its new president effective July 12. He will then assume the position of retiring CEO Thomas Dempsey on Jan. 1, 2022.
Morgan is also currently a member of the company’s board, where Dempsey will continue to serve after his retirement.

Dan has the management skills, experience and industry knowledge to lead the company to even greater heights in the next few years.”
With more than 30 years of experience in the industry, Morgan successfully lead PopCorners as president and CCO of BFY Brands from 2015 until it was acquired by PepsiCo in 2020. He recruited and developed a sales team that doubled sales under his leadership as well as put together a marketing team with a strong focus on brand building.

Among his vast previous experience, Morgan also served as CSO of international snack food marketer and manufacturer Snyder’s-Lance and co-founded two successful food and snack companies, Patriot Snacks and Bay State Snacks. At Bay State Snacks, he launched the Famous Amos cookie line in grocery accounts throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He also served as chair of SNAC International, trade association for the snack food industry.
