LEAVENWORTH, KS — Great Western Manufacturing has announced that Dawson Schroeder will take on the role of leader in training for the company, which manufactures sifting and screening machines, sieves, and milling supplies.
He represents the fourth generation of the Schroeder family at Great Western. As he grows into this position, he will become an integral part of Great Western’s team.
Schroeder graduated from Kansas State University in 2020 with bachelor’s degrees in supply chain management and organizational management. After graduating, he began his career working for Ferrellgas, where he completed the Management Development Program in Liberty, MO. He returned to Kansas City and continued working remotely for Ferrellgas through the end of 2023.
In his role at Great Western, he will learn all facets of the business, including manufacturing processes and other departmental aspects of the organization.
He will also participate in industry events including the International Association of Operative Millers conference in April and the International Baking Industry Exposition in 2025.
“I’m excited to see Dawson join our family business,” said David Schroeder, president and CEO of Great Western. “Having the 4th generation of the Schroeder family at Great Western is a proud moment for me and my father.”
