MINNEAPOLIS — General Mills Foodservice expanded its portfolio of individually wrapped breakfast items with the addition of Trix and Cinnamon Toast Crunch muffins.
With cereal-inspired flavors, the thaw-and-serve muffins are designed specifically for the K-12 market and are only available to school feeding programs. The muffins offer a ready-to-eat breakfast with 2 ounces of equivalent grain per serving and no artificial flavors.
Shipping out in July, the baked goods are the latest in General Mills Foodservice’s individually wrapped line-up, which houses products like Pillsbury Mini French Toast, Pillsbury Mini Waffles and Pillsbury Mini Pancakes.
In March, General Mills Foodservice released Gold Medal All Trumps Dough Balls, a labor-efficient product to create New York-style pizza crusts.
