MINNEAPOLIS — General Mills Foodservice is making it easier for retail bakeries to provide premium baked goods with Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls, the first Pillsbury-branded bakery item that arrives ready for retail.

“We want to give retail bakeries a new and effortless way to boost sales with scrumptious, classic cinnamon rolls in Pillsbury-branded packaging that helps seal the deal,” said Nicole Nelsen, director of retail foodservice at General Mills.

The 3.5-oz pre-frosted cinnamon rolls come prepackaged in packs of 4, sealed in a clear clamshell container decorated with images depicting the Pillsbury Doughboy. This design, Nelsen shared, showcases the rolls and memorable mascot to gain consumer confidence.

This is a low-labor way for retail bakeries to access that homemade taste in a quick and easy way. Additionally, Pillsbury offers baking mixes and ready-to-bake items to secure bakeries and foodservices operations to maximize on high quality products.

The rolls come in a case of 12 with a 5-day post-thaw shelf life and a 6-month frozen shelf life, all for a suggested retail price of $6.99.
