LEEDS, UT —Farmstead Manufacturing, operated by the See the Space Restaurant Group, opened a new production warehouse in Leeds, UT, as part of its efforts to expand business growth. This addition follows the success of its flagship retail location in St. George, UT, and its newest location in Springdale, UT, which opened in July.

Farmstead Manufacturing supplies croissants, donuts, Danishes and pastries to cafes, hotels and wholesalers across the Beehive State.

“We are thrilled to open our new production warehouse in Leeds and expand the Farmstead Bakery brand,” said Chris Connors, co-owner of Farmstead Bakery. “This new facility will not only allow us to increase our production capacity but also create new job opportunities for the local community.”

The new warehouse – made possible in part by a $2.25 million investment from impact investment firm Advantage Capital – will support the baking company’s expansion and serve as its primary production facility. The funding for this project was also fulfilled through a connection with the Utah Rural Jobs Act, which enables small businesses in rural counties to expand and create jobs through flexible and affordable capital, as well as a state business grant for job creation.

The baked goods supplier plans to hire 20 full-time employees at the Leeds warehouse and bring on another 45 workers throughout the company.
