DALLAS — Two family-owned, multi-generational baking businesses are joining forces. Signature Baking Co., a Dallas-based commercial bakery, has announced a new supplier partnership with Farmer Direct Foods (FDF), a flour producer committed to regenerative farming.

“As a family bakery, we’ve always believed in knowing who we do business with,” said OJ DeSouza, owner and president of Signature Baking. “Working with FDF means we can stand behind our products in a way that truly connects our customers to the people behind our ingredients.”

“We’re proud to support Signature Baking with a supply chain they can trace and trust,” said Steve Sewell, VP of sales, bakery and foodservice for FDF. “As more bakeries look for meaningful supplier relationships, we’re showing that flour can be more than a commodity: Great flour comes with better flavor, better nutrition and a sustainability story.”

The collaboration will not only fortify Signature Baking’s array of baked goods but also expand FDF’s roster of artisan and wholesale bakeries across the central US, which includes Kansas City, MO-based Farm to Market Bread Co.
