ANAHEIM, CA — Following the 2026 Natural Products Expo West, held March 5 in Anaheim, CA, the 2026 NEXTY Award winners have been announced. Each product — totaling 164 finalists across 37 categories — was evaluated for its innovation and product integrity.

The baking industry was well represented among this year’s winners. Lexington Bakes’ Peanut Butter Chip Protein Cookie took home the prize in the vegan category. The 1.65-ounce Protein Cookie was developed to communicate the brand’s value to consumers, boasting 7 grams of protein and 4 grams of fiber per cookie.

For the breads and bakery category, Truly Indian’s Tikka Masala Naan was named the overall winner, praised for its hand-crafted, tandoor-baked attributes and soft texture. Papa Mountain’s Sweet Potato & Herb Bread Rolls — a vegan, gluten- and grain-free savory roll made from cassava root starch, sweet potato and coconut milk — received the special diet category winner. Ulu Foods’ Chia & Sea Salt Breadfruit Bites won the editor’s choice award for its gluten-free and allergen-friendly attributes and use of Barbadian breadfruit.
