HYDE PARK, MA — Effie’s Homemade, a leading producer of cracker crisps, will unveil redesigned packaging for its crispy tea biscuits at the Summer Fancy Food Show June 23-25 in New York City.

The new design invites a deeper consumer understanding of the hybrid cookie-cracker product.

“We believe our new packaging will positively impact consumer purchasing decisions,” said Irene Costello, co-founder of Effie’s Homemade. “Through enhanced product communication and usage suggestions, we aim to encourage more consumers to experience our delicious biscuits.”

Spurred by market and consumer research, the updated packaging represents an investment in the company’s journey to expand its reach. The redesign includes new product photography on the front panel and enhanced flavor descriptions for each cracker variety. Other packaging panels feature photography of serving and pairing suggestions, encouraging cross-consumer purchasing.

“Our redesigned packaging not only enriches the story of our recipe’s heritage but also offers retailers alternative merchandising options and pairing suggestions, making it easier to merchandise our products in-store,” added Joan MacIsaac, co-founder of Effie’s Homemade.

The new packaging coincides with the company’s launch of two new biscuit flavors: Hazelnut and Gruyère with Black Pepper. These join eight other flavor varieties in the product lineup, including Cocoa, Corn, Ginger, Pecan, Rye, Walnut, Almond and Oatcake.
