MILWAUKIE, OR — For the first time in seven years, Dave’s Killer Bread (DKB), the flagship organic bread brand for Flowers Foods, is bringing back its Pumpkin Spice Madness Bagels. The sweetly spiced bagels are made with brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg, and boast 10 grams of protein and 4 grams of fiber per serving.
“Dave’s Pumpkin Spice Madness Bagels are making a highly anticipated comeback to our bagel lineup,” said Cristina Watson, DKB senior director of brand management. “‘BreadHeads’ have been clamoring for the return of this organic favorite.”
According to a survey conducted by the brand, one in three respondents positioned bagels in the top breakfast foods, outranking oatmeal, muffins and crepes. Bringing back the pumpkin spice SKU provides consumers with a seasonal flavor that offers more options in the category.
Dave’s Killer Bread Pumpkin Spice Madness Bagels are available at participating retailers nationwide through November while supplies last. The SRP for a 5-pack of bagels starts at $6.49.
