Crown Bakeries names Andrew Boyer chief commercial officer

NASHVILLE, TN — Crown Bakeries, a manufacturer of baked goods including croissants, buns, bagels and biscuits, has added Andrew Boyer to its leadership team as chief commercial officer.

In this position, he will strengthen the Nashville, TN-based baking company’s commercial strategy, support growth and innovation for Crown’s bakery solutions portfolio, and spearhead sales marketing.

Boyer boasts more than 30 years of sales leadership and business development experience and carries an extensive background in food categories including bakery, frozen, dry grocery and private label.

He most recently served as Cafe Valley Bakery’s VP of sales. Prior to that, he held leadership roles at companies including Maple Leaf Frozen Bakery and Rich Products.

This addition follows a reorganization to Crown’s leadership in January, including Caparos’ succession of Cordia Harrington, Crown’s founder, as CEO.
