LOS ANGELES — Cookie company Maxine’s Heavenly announced the addition of Gregory Hall as its director of natural sales, national.
The appointment of Hall to the Maxine’s Heavenly team continues the company’s string of new hires with an array of talent spanning multiple years and companies including behemoth Mondelez International.
Hall previously served as VP of sales at Lakanto, a monk fruit sweetener brand, and at Otto Natural’s, a cassava flour brand. Through his work scaling Lakanto from a startup to an industry leading brand over the course of a few years, his new role at the cookie manufacturer matches the company’s continued growth objective in the snack category.
“As we continue to drive high growth in the natural channel, we recognized the opportunity to provide our customers with a deeper level of experience, knowledge, and strategy to accelerate the growth within the category,” said Sam Neumann, senior director of national sales. “After meeting with Hall, we knew he was the right individual to lead this initiative. Hall has an impressive background in scaling high-growth brands, and we could not be more excited for him to join the Maxine’s Heavenly team.”
The Los Angeles-based company leads the category as the third fastest-growing, naturally positioned cookie brand according to recent analysis of retail scans conducted by SPINS, a data technology company. Maxine’s Heavenly also ranks No. 28 in the total cookie category.
“It’s an exciting time to be joining the company,” Hall said. “Maxine’s Heavenly displays the kind of forward momentum, innovative-thinking, and inclusivity that professionals want to be a part of. I am proud to join this team and am looking forward to our growth in the years ahead.”
