MIAMI — Bauducco, a Brazilian cookie company and the world’s largest producer of panettone, launched Bauducco Chocottone, a chocolate-coated reimagining of the Italian sweet bread.
Developed in the US as an exclusive trademark within Bauucco’s signature panettone line, the new holiday sweet loaf combines the brand’s reputation of traditional baked goods with contemporary flavors.
The new Chocottone sweet loaf is available in three flavors, including Chocolate Chips, Peanut Butter and Hazelnut Cream, each covered in a fudge coating.
“As we hold an impressive 86 percent share of the American panettone category, our research shows that today’s US holiday consumers are increasingly seeking indulgent, chocolate-forward treats that reflect evolving tastes,” said Juliana Corá Bastos, marketing and trade marketing director, Bauducco International BU. “Bauducco Chocottone was created to meet this desire for richer, sweeter flavors while preserving the artisanal quality that defines our panettone; it represents a natural and strategic evolution for our brand. Bauducco Chocottone is our gateway to introducing panettone to a new generation of consumers.”
Bauducco Chocottone is available at retailers nationwide and on Amazon. The brand is also offering consumers the chance to try the new product at various pop-up events hosted throughout New York City this holiday season.
