CHICAGO — Conagra Brands, one of the leading North American branded food companies owning brands such as Udi’s Gluten Free and Angie’s BOOMCHICKAPOP, announced today that it has been named as one of the best 50 US companies for Latinas to work for by LATINA Style Inc.

LATINA Style specializes in addressing the needs of Latina professionals and business owners, and the Top 50 Report benchmark evaluates employment opportunities and policies as they pertain to Latinas, recognizing companies that hold diversity and inclusion essential to their success. Conagra says that the recognition in this report underscores its commitment to advancing workplace policies impacting underrepresented communities.

“Conagra strives to have the most impactful, energized and inclusive culture in food, and we are proud to be recognized for building a workplace where employees from all backgrounds can thrive,” said Mariane Boldori, VP of human resources, Conagra Brands. “There is a lot of exciting work ahead of us, and we will continue to learn how to better support our team members to evolve our culture of belonging.”

This recognition comes after the company announced new diversity and inclusion targets and actions in February 2020, aiming to engage with talent, strengthen relationships with individuals from underrepresented backgrounds, and nurture employee development through an inclusive culture. In support of the company’s efforts, Conagra entered a multi-year partnership with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund and the Thurgood Marshall College Fund to provide college scholarships and unique professional development opportunities for diverse students.

Conagra also has a Latinx employee resource group that serves as a catalyst for employee development, business growth and community impact by educating employees on the importance of diverse workplace through workshops and events. It also focuses on partnering with local non-profits and creating mentorship programs and volunteer projects to combat food insecurity.
