TORONTO — Private label packaged cookie producer Commercial Bakeries announced its acquisition of Imagine Baking, a manufacturer of specialty/premium and better-for-you crackers, cookies and biscuits with a focus on gluten-free and organic spaces. This is Commercial Bakeries’ first add-on since it was acquired by private investment firm Graham Partners in September 2023.
“We are delighted to welcome John and Adrienne O’Donnell and their Imagine Baking team into the expanded business,” said Shawn Warren, who was appointed CEO of Commercial Bakeries in December 2023. “We are confident that together we will accelerate towards our promise of ‘Baking Up Better’ every day and in every way.”
Imagine Baking operates out of a 114,000-square-foot facility with segregated manufacturing lines, multiple packaging capabilities and an R&D laboratory.
