BOSTON — Circumspect Capital, a diversified holding company that makes long-term investments in market-leading businesses, has acquired Hingham, MA-based Venus Wafers.

Venus Wafers produces better-for-you, all-natural private label snacks. The company also bakes a variety of flatbreads and crackers, including lavash and water crackers that have been developed over generations of family ownership by the Barmakians.

In nabbing the artisanal cracker company, Circumspect is able to participate in a long-term focused investment partnership with an all-natural specialty snack cracker portfolio and private label business.

Investment bank Tully & Holland served as the exclusive advisor on the sale.
