Founded in 1997, CBE was the country’s first professional baking industry expo. Since its seventh session in 2003, the event has taken place in Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou every May. In 2005, the event’s name was changed to China Bakery Exhibition. After more than two decades of development, CBE has become a large, influential professional exhibition in China. With its exhibitors covering the baking industry’s supply chain including raw and auxiliary bakery materials, additive enterprises, machinery and equipment, appliance and mold enterprises, packaging equipment including design and production, cold-chain logistics, and catering management and training services, CBE has enjoyed a high reputation in the industry at home and abroad, especially among the bakers in southern China and Southeast Asia.
Wu Weiquan, honorary president of ACBA, affirmed the strategic cooperation and noted that ACBA has been committed to promoting the development of China’s baking industry with diversified industry service models. The cooperation has contributed multiple partnerships, including the green channel of the baking industry in China and the world, the integration of the baking and catering industries, and the service upgrade of the traditional industries and new functional platforms.
"The strategic cooperation between both parties is very important for both sides,” said Wang Mingliang, founder and director of IM Sinoexpo.
At the same time, the alliance will also bring more international perspectives and industry resources to China’s baking industry and new opportunities for further industry development.
“The strategic cooperation between both parties is very important for both sides,” said Wang Mingliang, founder and director of IM Sinoexpo. “The joining of China Bakery Exhibition will continue to consolidate IM Sinoexpo’s leading position in food portfolio in China exhibitions. The company has boasted flagship shows such as Hotelex Shanghai and Food and Hotel China, and held sub shows in Beijing, Tianjin, Chengdu and Guangzhou, forming a strategic system of regional expansion in all directions in the country.
