Campbell’s elevates new chief supply chain officer

CAMDEN, NJ — Effective immediately, Cassandra Green is now part of The Campbell’s Co. c-suite as chief supply chain officer.

Since joining Campbell’s in 2010 as a plant manager in Australia, Green has moved up the ranks across the organization, most recently serving as head of supply chain. In her new role, Green will further the company’s end-to-end supply chain, including procurement, operational excellence and manufacturing, as well as oversee food safety and quality. She will also join the company’s operating committee.

“Cass is a proven leader with deep knowledge of our business and a track record of delivering results,” said Mick Beekhuizen, CEO of Campbell’s. “Her ability to drive operational excellence and develop strong teams makes her the right leader to help shape our enterprise priorities and further strengthen our supply chain to fuel the growth of our business.”

Green’s work has also previously included areas such as the former fresh supply chain, manufacturing for the Meals & Beverages division and the enterprise co-manufacturing strategy. Additionally, Green has been a major player in furthering operational excellence and digitization initiatives.

This appointment comes about a little over a week after Campbell’s enlisted Mohit Anand to drive growth for its snacks portfolio.
