RICHMOND, UT — Campbell Soup Co. marked the completion of its Richmond, UT, bakery expansion with the opening of a new Goldfish line.

The $160 million investment was announced in July 2023 with intentions of increasing production on the popular snack cracker to meet growing consumer demand. The company’s bakery investment will also generate more than 85 jobs over the next three years.

“Goldfish is an iconic brand within Campbell’s portfolio that has experienced exponential growth, and our Richmond bakery has been one of the key engines behind its success,” said Chris Foley, executive VP and president of Campbell’s Snacks. “This strategic investment expands our production, creates jobs, fuels local economic growth and deepens our roots in Cache Valley.”

Utah Flour Milling is currently building a flour mill adjacent and connected to the Richmond bakery due to a partnership between PHM Brands’ Panhandle Milling and NIPPN Corp. The mill will improve efficiency, provide opportunity for growth and increase supply reliability.
