“This factory will enable Bridor to meet the specific needs of the American market by having a production site close to its regional customers,” said Eric de Saint Lager, CEO of Bridor in North America. “It will propose a wide range of artisanal breads and Viennese pastries designed specifically for the American consumers.”

Construction on the Brigham City, UT, bakery will commence this fall and is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2025. The bakery will be operational in January 2026 and create an assortment of baked goods adapted for Western consumers.

Upon completion, the bakery will bring 150 jobs ranging from operators and bakers to engineers and quality controllers for residents in the Brigham City area. Long term, the company anticipates 300 employees for the facility. Recruitment for these roles will begin in 2025. Bridor’s training academy will also offer essential information for producing artisanal products on a commercial scale.

“They’re really high-paying jobs for our area, and that excites us because we don’t have to worry about trying to get people to move up here to fill those jobs,” said DJ Bott, mayor of Brigham City. “We’re now in competition to hire the people that live here but are commuting outside of Brigham City to get the pay they need. We may be able to bring those folks home, and that is exciting.”

In addition to the new facility, Bridor recently announced a partnership with Equii to develop artisan baked goods with health attributes.
