VINELAND, NJ — Bridor, a French manufacturer of premium bakery products and Viennese pastries, announced the latest move in its US expansion.

The bakery manufacturer is investing in a new Viennese pastry line, warehouse, R&D center, culinary academy, baking center and automated bread line for the expansion currently underway in Vineland, NJ.

“This expansion reflects our commitment to growing closer to our customers and responding quickly to the needs of the US market,” said Eric Juillet de Saint Lager, CEO of Bridor North America. “By strengthening our Vineland production capabilities, we’re able to scale efficiently while preserving the craftsmanship, quality and consistency that define Bridor. Vineland plays a critical role in our growth today and well into the future.”

The Vineland expansion project, which broke ground fall 2024, included the construction of a more than 51,000-square-foot building to house the new equipment. The pastry line has been in operation since 2025, with the new bread line expected to be operational in Q2 2026.

The baking manufacturer celebrated the facility and its community impact with a milestone event held Jan. 28. Bridor’s Vineland investment reflects its broader growth strategy focused on localization and transparent ingredient sourcing locally where possible as well as building flexible capacity to meet evolving customer needs.

“Bridor’s continued investment in Vineland is a meaningful win for our community,” said Anthony R. Fanucci, mayor of Vineland. “This expansion brings advanced manufacturing capabilities, supports local jobs and reinforces Vineland’s role as a hub for high-quality food production. We’re proud to partner with a global company that is committed to long-term growth in our city.”

With more than 40 years in North America, this expansion pushes Bridor’s growth plans forward, including the construction currently taking place in the Salt Lake City area. Additionally, the company plans to build a state-of-the-art industrial bakery in Lancaster, TX, joining its existing operational plants in Canada, Bridgeport, CT, and Vineland, NJ.

“North America is a strategic priority for Bridor, and these investments demonstrate our long-term vision for the region,” said Philippe Morin, CEO of Bridor Worldwide. “Expanding our production footprint allows us to combine French baking expertise with local manufacturing excellence, ensuring we can deliver premium products at scale while remaining deeply connected to our customers.”
