Allen has been a BEMA staff member for five years, first serving in administrative roles, then managing special events and member engagement before being named as senior manager of membership and meetings. She has grown BEMA membership services with new membership engagement programs such as Tour de BEMA, BEMA Intel, and the new Virtual Roundtables. Allen is also a key contributor on the implementation team of MemberSuite, BEMA’s new association management software.

“Kelly’s energy and enthusiasm for collaboration have been exemplified by her work on IBIE’s sponsorship program and VIP events,” said Kerwin Brown, BEMA president and CEO.

Bowers joined BEMA in 2016 as the facilitator for BEAM-U. Since then, she has led BEMA’s efforts to employ modern practices for professional development and human resources and has shared this knowledge with member companies and industry partners. Bowers co-leads the IBIEducate program and represents BEMA on IBIE task forces and committees. She’s also a valued partner in board governance and industry relations and supports BEMA’s strategic initiatives and priorities for governance alignment.
